Most sectors, including Food and Insurance, declined on the Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday.
On the flip side, mutual funds, travel and jute sectors opened marginally up.
Trading activities declined further as the turnover stood at just around Tk 651 crore.
In the last hour of the trading, the benchmark DSEX index lost 57 points or 0.86 per cent to settle at 6,638.
The Shariah-based DSES index slipped 10 point or 0.76 per cent to 1,431 while the blue-chip index DS30 dropped 24 points or 0.97 per cent to 2,438.
Of the issues traded, 98 advanced, 247 declined, and 34 remained unchanged.
