Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell deeper into red terrain, dragged down by IT, Insurers and NBFIs on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 119.87 points or 1.82 per cent to 6,449.
Shariah-based index DSES lost 27.61 points or 1.91 per cent to 1,415, and the blue-chip index DS30 decreased 47.43 points or 2.00 per cent to 2,314.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1417 crore.
Of the issues traded, 19 advanced, 167 declined, and 182 remained unchanged.
