Most sectors led by insurers, IT and telecom ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday.
At close, the benchmark DSEX index shed 39.47 points or 0.61 per cent to settle at 6,391.

The Shariah-based DSES index lost 8.24 points or 0.58 per cent to 1,394 while the blue-chip index DS30 dropped 17.67 points or 0.75 per cent to 2,316.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 798 crore.

Of the issues traded, 84 advanced, 253 declined, and 42 remained unchanged.
