Most sectors led by insurers, NBFIs and banks ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DESX index shed 19.26 points or 0.29 per cent to 6,406.

The Shariah-based DSES index lost 6.14 points or 0.43 per cent to 1,397. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 rose 2.007 points or 0.08 per cent to 2,329.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 894 crore.

Of the issues traded, 62 advanced, 282 declined, and 38 remained unchanged.
