DSE in green, led by insurers and IT

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Wednesday ended its trading on a positive note, led by insurers, and IT.

At the end of the day's trade, DSEX - the major index of DSE - gained 2.09 points or 0.03 per cent to 6,293.

The Shariah-based DSES added 0.04 points or 0.003 per cent to 1,372 while the blue-chip index DS30 also added 1.72 points or 0.07 per cent to 2,228.

Meanwhile, the turnover stood at 734 crores.

Of the issues traded, 38 advanced, 129 declined, and 179 remained unchanged.
