Most sectors led by insurers, NBFIs and IT ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DESX index shed 63.71 points or 1.02 per cent to 6,153.

The Shariah-based DSES index lost 11.57 points or 1.16 per cent to 1,345. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 decreased 5.24 points or 0.23 per cent to 2,200.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 676 crore.

Of the issues traded, 115 advanced, 219 declined, and 47 remained unchanged.
