DSE flat, led by IT

Most sectors led by IT on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended flat on Thursday.

At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index gained 3.39 points or 0.05 per cent to settle at 6,202.

The Shariah-based DSES index advanced 2.38 points or 0.17 per cent to 1,357 while the blue-chip index DS30 added 1.47 points or 0.06 per cent to close at 2,194.

The DSE turnover stood at Tk 227 crore.

Of the issues traded, 52 advanced, 101 declined, and 156 did not see any price movement.
