Most sectors drag down by IT ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday.
At the end of the day’s trading, DSES, the major index of DSE, lost 12.48 points or 0.20 per cent to 6,226.
The Shariah-based DSES index shed 3.50 points or 0.25 per cent to 1,363, while the blue-chip DS30 index slashed 2.31 points or 0.105 per cent to 2,199.
Of the issues traded, 14 advanced, 65 declined, and 235 remained unchanged.
Meanwhile, the turnover was Tk 322 crore.
