Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange on Wednesday opened their trading on a positive note.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DESX index gained 10.25 points or 0.16 per cent to 6,295.
The Shariah-based DSES index gained 5.10 points or 0.37 per cent to 1,374. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 went up 6.88 points or 0.30 per cent to 2,241.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 748 crore.
Of the issues traded, 44 advanced, 120 declined, and 172 remained unchanged.
