Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Wednesday opened its trading on a positive note, led by insurers, and IT.
In the first hour of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, gained 19.31 points or 0.30 per cent to settle at 6,365 points.
DSES, the Shariah-based index, added 5.29 points or 0.38 per cent to 1,380.
The DS30, the blue-chip index, also added 1.74 points or 0.07 per cent to close at 2,204.
The DSE turnover stands at Tk 424 crore.
