DSE in green, led by insurers

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday ended its trading on a positive note, led by insurers.

In the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, gained 14.15 points or 0.22 per cent to settle at 6,339 points.

DSES, the Shariah-based index, added 0.28 points or 0.02 per cent to 1,371.

The DS30, the blue-chip index, also added 1.19 points or 0.05 per cent to close at 2,199.

Another important indicator of the market, The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1,174 crore.

Of the issues traded, 102 advanced, 77 declined, and 182 did not see any price movement.
