Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange on Wednesday ended its trading on a positive note, led by insurers.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, gained 22.79 points or 0.36 per cent to settle at 6,338.
DSES, the Shariah-based index, added 3.04 points or 0.22 per cent to 1,375.

The DS30, the blue-chip index, also added 0.47 points or 0.02 per cent to close at 2,189.
Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stood at Tk 782 crore.
Of the issues traded, 123 advanced, 46 declined, and 178 did not see any price movement.
