DSE in green, led by IT

Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday ended its trading on a positive note, led by IT.

At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, gained 10.57 points or 0.16 per cent to settle at 6,366.

DSES, the Shariah-based index, added 3.43 points or 0.24 per cent to 1,382.

The DS30, the blue-chip index, lost 2.27 points or 0.10 per cent to close at 2,199.

Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stood at Tk 1,254 crore.

Of the issues traded, 77 advanced, 100 declined, and 173 did not see any price movement.
