The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) performed mixed on Wednesday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, advanced 1.34 points, or 0.02 per cent, to 6,211.
DSES, the Shariah-complaint index, added 0.29 points or 0.02 per cent to 1,346, while DS30, the blue-chip index, dropped 1.04 points or 0.04 per cent to settle at 2,202.
However, turnover, an important indicator of the market stood at Tk 527 crore.
Of the issues traded, 52 advanced, 63 declined, and 190 remained the same.
