Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) dragged down by insurers fell into red terrain on Sunday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index shed 18.67 points or 0.28 per cent to 6,489.
Shariah-based DSES index gained only 1.16 points or 0.08 per cent to 1,410, while the blue-chip index DS30 decreased by 2.07 points or 0.08 per cent to 2,303.

The DSE turnover stood at Tk 229 crore.
Of the issues traded, 95 advanced, 217 declined, and 63 remained unchanged.
