Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange on Sunday ended their trading on a negative note, dragged down by insurers and IT.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, deducted 25.18 points or 0.40 per cent to settle at 6,234 points.
DSES, the Shariah-based index, lost 3.41 points or 0.25 per cent to 1,358.
The DS30, the blue-chip index, also lost 5.42 points or 0.24 per cent to close at 2,221.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 433 crore.
Of the issues traded, 17 advanced, 139 declined, and 155 did not see any price movement.
