Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday ended trading on a negative note, dragged down by IT.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, deducted 11.61 points or 0.18 per cent to settle at 6,231 points.
DSES, the Shariah-based index, lost 4.70 points or 0.34 per cent to 1,355.
The DS30, the blue-chip index, also lost 5.81 points or 0.26 per cent to close at 2,217.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 563 crore.
Of the issues traded, 31 advanced, 102 declined, and 201 did not see any price movement.
