Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday opened low, dragged down by IT.
In the first 100 minutes of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX deducted 9.02 points or 0.14 per cent to settle at 6,224.
The Shariah-based index DSES lost 3.88 points or 0.28 per cent to 1,359, and the blue-chip index DS30 shed 6.73 points or 0.30 per cent to close at 2,200.
Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stood at Tk 102.9 crore.
Of the issues traded, 13 advanced, 57 declined, and 153 remained unchanged.
