Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange on Monday ended trading on a negative note.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, deducted 3.15 points or 0.05 per cent to settle at 6,204.
DSES, the Shariah-based index, lost 2.95 points or 0.21 per cent to 1,349.
DS30, the blue-chip index, also lost 1.96 points or 0.08 per cent to close at 2,215.
Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stood at Tk 344 crore.
Of the issues traded, 51 advanced, 35 declined, and 234 did not see any price movement.
