Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Wednesday ended low, dragged down by IT.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX deducted 22.77 points or 0.36 per cent to settle at 6,207.
The Shariah-based index DSES lost 5.94 points or 0.43 per cent to 1,349, and the blue-chip index DS30 shed 7.01 points or 0.32 per cent to close at 2,183.
Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stood at Tk 540.6 crore.
Of the issues traded, 20 advanced, 63 declined, and 230 remained unchanged.
