Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) led by IT ended green on Wednesday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, advanced 35.66 points or 0.56 per cent to settle at 6,388 points.
DSES, the Shariah-based index, gained 9.48 points or 0.68 per cent to 1,399.
Among other indices, the DS30, the blue-chip index, rose 8.37 points or 0.37 per cent to close at 2,244.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1,461 crore.
Of the issues traded, 113 advanced, 41 declined, and 216 did not see any price movement.
