Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) led by engineering ended on a positive note on Sunday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX gained 18.69 points or 0.28 per cent to 6,531. The Shariah-based DSES index increased to 3.82 points or 0.26 per cent to 1,423.

Among other indices, the blue-chip index DS30 added 3.40 points or 0.14 per cent to 2,333.
Meanwhile, turnover, another important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 1,533 crore.
Out of 373 stocks traded, 115 issues advanced, 81 declined and 177 remained unchanged.
