Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) plunged but the IT sector shone on Sunday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX deducted 15.78 points or 0.24 per cent to 6,478.
The Shariah-based index DSES lost 1.52 points or 0.10 per cent to 1,418, and the blue-chip index DS30 shed 8.27 points or 0.40 per cent to 2,298.

The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1,343 crore.
Of the issues traded, 83 advanced, 127 declined, and 161 remained unchanged.
