DSE pays homage to Bangabandhu on his martyrdom anniversary

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, marking his 48th martyrdom anniversary and the National Mourning Day.

The bourse’s board directors and officials together paid tributes to the architect of the country's independence by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi Road No 32 in the capital.

DSE Chairman Professor Dr Hafiz Md Hasan Babu, its Directors Professor Dr Abdullah Al Mahmud, Md Afzal Hossain, Rubaba Dowla, Md Shakil Rizvi, among others, were present on the occasion.

The bourse also organized dua mahfil, discussion, and distributed food among orphans on the day.
