Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange on Tuesday ended trading on a negative note, dragged down by banks.
At the end of day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, deducted 10.83 points or 0.17 per cent to settle at 6,193.

DSES, the Shariah-based index, lost 4.06 points or 0.30 per cent to 1,345.
DS30, the blue-chip index, also lost 4.70 points or 0.21 per cent to close at 2,210.
Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stood at Tk 272 crore.

Of the issues traded, 28 advanced, 56 declined, and 201 did not see any price movement.
