DSE in green, led by insurers and IT

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday ended its trading on a positive note, led by insurers, and IT.

At the end of the day's trade, DSEX - the major index of DSE - gained 2.83 points or 0.04 per cent to 6,262.

However, the Shariah-based DSES dropped 0.24 points or 0.01 per cent to 1,361 while the blue-chip index DS30 also dropped 0.10 points or 0.004 per cent to 2,225.

Meanwhile, the turnover stood at 649 crores.

Of the issues traded, 57 advanced, 110 declined, and 183 remained unchanged.
