DSE in green, led by IT

Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) led by IT ended green on Wednesday.

At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, advanced 23.48 points or 0.37 per cent to settle at 6,235.

DSES, the Shariah-based index, gained 10.75 points or 0.79 per cent to close at 1,370.

Among other indices, the DS30, the blue-chip index, rose 13.64 points or 0.62 per cent to close at 2,214.

Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stood at Tk 449.3 crore.

Of the issues traded, 51 advanced, 26 declined, and 227 did not see any price movement.
