Most sectors led by NBFI, IT and engineering ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX shed 4.18 points or 0.06 per cent to 6,510. The Shariah-based DSES index dropped 0.33 points or 0.02 per cent to 1,420.
Among other indices, the blue-chip index DS30 gained 1.96 points or 0.08 per cent to 2,331.
Meanwhile, turnover, another important indicator of the market, closed at Tk 1,300 crore.
Out of 371 stocks traded, 61 issues advanced, 137 declined and 173 remained unchanged.
