Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday ended higher, led by IT and insurers.
At the end of the day’s trade, the DSEX, the broad index of the premier bourse, advanced 5.52 points or 0.08 per cent to settle at 6,215 points.

DSES, the Shariah-based index, lost 0.10 points or 0 per cent to 1,357.
Among other indices, the DS30, the blue-chip index, rose 0.28 points or 0.01 per cent to close at 2,199.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 507 crore.
Of the issues traded, 52 advanced, 111 declined, and 171 did not see any price movement.
