Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) drag down by insurers and engineering ended in red terrain on Wednesday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX shed 45.21 points or 0.68 per cent to 6,551. The Shariah-based DSES index dropped 12.02 points or 0.83 per cent to 1,436.
Among other indices, the blue-chip index DS30 lost 26.93 points or 1.12 per cent to 2,374.

Meanwhile, turnover, another important indicator of the market, closed at Tk 1,800 crore,
Out of 371 stocks traded, 58 issues advanced, 159 declined and 154 did not see any price movement.
