Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) led by IT ended in green on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX gained 65.74 points or 1.00 per cent to 6,600. The Shariah-based DSES index added 15.71 points or 1.09 per cent to 1,451.
Among other indices, the blue-chip index DS30 increased by 42.59 points or 1.80 per cent to 2,406.
Meanwhile, turnover, another important indicator of the market, closed at Tk 198 crore,
Out of 371 stocks traded, 88 issues advanced, 155 declined and 128 did not see any price movement.
