DSE ends day's trade in green

Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) led by insurers ended in green on Thursday.

At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX gained 16.50 points or 0.25 per cent to 6,512. The Shariah-based DSES index increased to 4.31 points or 0.30 per cent to 1,419.

Among other indices, the blue-chip index DS30 added 7.28 points or 0.31 per cent to 2,330.

Meanwhile, turnover, another important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 1,216 crore.

Out of 365 stocks traded, 94 issues advanced, 85 declined and 186 remained unchanged.
