Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) downward trend continued for the fifth consecutive day.
Most sectors led by IT, cement and NBFIs were down on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday.
At close, the benchmark DSEX index shed 115.56 points or 1.84 per cent to settle at 6,142.
The Shariah-based DSES index lost 21.31 points or 1.54 per cent to 1,361 while the blue-chip index DS30 dropped 39.51 points or 1.70 per cent to 2,277.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 680 crore.
Of the issues traded, 21 advanced, 345 declined, and 13 remained unchanged.
