Most sectors on Sunday led by engineering, insurers, and banks ended higher on DSE following a downward trend last week.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index added 26.46 points or 0.43 per cent to 6,175.
Shariah-based DSES index rose to 5.21 points or 0.38 per cent to 1,350, while the blue-chip index DS30 increased by 4.91 points or 0.22 per cent to 2,199.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 643 crore.
Of the issues traded, 168 advanced, 82 declined, and 130 remained unchanged.
