The benchmark DSEX index was marginally down in volatile trade on Thursday.
It lost over 5 points or 0.07 per cent to settle at 7243. Meanwhile, Shariah-based index DSES gained 0.83 points or 0.05 per cent to reach 1567.
Blue-chip index DS30 settled at 2719.13 after gaining 1.57 points or 0.05 per cent at the end of the day's trading.
