The benchmark DSEX index gained, breaking a six-day losing streak on Monday.
Although trading activity was very low, the benchmark DSEX index gained 21 points or 0.31 per cent to 6,795 at the end of the day’s trading.
Shariah-based DSES index added 1 point or 0.10 per cent to 1,430 while the blue-chip index DS30 lost nearly 8 points or 0.34 per cent to 2,567.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 7,077 crore.
Out of the 372 issues traded, 238 advanced, 89 declined, and 45 remained unchanged.
