The Dhaka Stock Exchange ends higher on Wednesday after witnessing a sharp rise at the start of the day’s trading.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index rose 143.74 points or 2.14 per cent to 6847.
Shariah-based DSES index increased 32.2 points or 2.29 per cent to 1,437, while the blue-chip index DS30 gained 73.5 points or 2.92 per cent to 2,589.
Out of the 373 issues traded, 293 advanced, 45 declined, and 35 remained unchanged.
