The DSEX, prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended in the green terrain riding on insurers on Sunday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index rose 153.44 points or 2.56 per cent to 6,133.

The Shariah-based DSES index added 31.27 points or 2.39 per cent to 1,339, while the blue-chip index DS30 gained 48.32 points or 2.25 per cent to 2,193.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 562 crore.

Of the issues traded, 362 advanced, 7 declined, and 13 remained unchanged.
