The DSEX, prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended in the green terrain riding on insurers on Tuesday.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DSEX index rose 29.34 points or 0.48 per cent to 6,112.

The Shariah-based DSES index added 1.65 points or 0.12 per cent to 1,333, while the blue-chip index DS30 gained 12.82 points or 0.58 per cent to 2,190.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 835 crore.

Of the issues traded, 177 advanced, 172 declined, and 33 remained unchanged.
