The DSEX, prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended in the green terrain riding on insurers on Thursday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index rose 34.08 points or 0.54 per cent to 6,314.

The Shariah-based DSES index added 5.51 points or 0.39 per cent to 1,385, while the blue-chip index DS30 gained 8.21 points or 0.36 per cent to 2,251.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 370 crore.
Of the issues traded, 235 advanced, 37 declined, and 89 remained unchanged.
