DSEX jumps at open

The benchmark DSEX index jumped at open on Thursday after closing higher.

In the first 50 minutes into the trade, it gained 26.18 points or 0.37 per cent to close at 7,038.

Shariah-based DSES index shed 3.91 points or 0.26 per cent to 1,477.

On the other hand, the blue-chip index DS30 rose 0.11 points or 0.004 per cent to 2,644.

Out of the 370 issues traded, 165 advanced, 168 declined, and 37 remained unchanged.
