The benchmark DSEX index opened on a positive note Sunday, the first session of the week.
In the first 40 minutes into the trade, the index rose nearly 26 points or 0.36 per cent to 7,117.
Shariah-based DSES index rose 0.46 point or 0.03 per cent to 1,480 while the blue-chip index DS30 added 0.35 point or 0.01 per cent to 2,695.
