The DSEX, prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended in the green terrain riding on insurers on Sunday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index rose 46.53 points or 0.73 per cent to 6,401.

The Shariah-based DSES index dropped 0.09 points or 0.006 per cent to 1,390, while the blue-chip index DS30 gained 5.46 points or 0.24 per cent to 2,272.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1985 crore.
Of the issues traded, 217 advanced, 97 declined, and 68 remained unchanged.
