Most sectors led by IT and insurers ended lower on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Tuesday.
At the end of the day’s trading, the benchmark DESX shed 30.59 points or 0.47 per cent to 6,361.

The Shariah-based DSES index dropped 7.15 points or 0.51 per cent to 1,387. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 lost 16.06 points or 0.69 per cent to 2,300.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 8,74 crore.

Of the issues traded, 89 advanced, 236 declined, and 57 remained unchanged.
