DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, on Sunday marked the 7,000 points, the highest ever since its inception in 2013.
As of 12:00pm, the key index gained by 82 points and stood at 7,063 points.
On the DS30, the bluechip index gained by 34 points to stand at 2,530 points.
Of the total traded issues, prices of 255 companies advanced, 88 remained unchanged while 32 declined.
