The DSEX, prime index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended in the green terrain riding on engineering on Monday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index rose 40.67 points or 0.64 per cent to 6,300.
The Shariah-based DSES index added 7.43 points or 0.54 per cent to 1,380, while the blue-chip index DS30 gained 21.18 points or 0.95 per cent to 2,247.
The DSE turnover stood at Tk 147 crore.
Of the issues traded, 164 advanced, 117 declined, and 99 remained unchanged.
