Most sectors on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) led by insurers ended lower on Thursday.
At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark index DSEX gained 12.55 points or 0.19 per cent to 6,560.
The Shariah-based index DSES lost 0.97 points or 0.06 per cent to 1,441. Meanwhile, the blue-chip index DS30 added 22.59 points or 0.95 per cent to 2,376.

The DSE turnover stood at Tk 1,877 crore.

Of the issues traded, 72 advanced, 188 declined, and 119 remained unchanged.
