DSE in green, led by IT

Most sectors in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended on a positive note on Tuesday, led by IT.

At the end of the day’s trade, the benchmark DSEX index gained 11.35 points or 0.18 per cent to 6,263.

The shariah-based DSES index increased by 3.53 points or 0.26 per cent to 1,358, while the blue-chip index DS30 lost 0.11 points or 0.005 per cent to 2,212.

Another important indicator of the market, DSE turnover stood at Tk 713 crore.

Of the issues traded, 83 advanced, 53 declined, and 206 remained unchanged.
