University of Dhaka Associate Professor Farzana Lalarukh has been appointed as the commissioner of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).
The Financial Institutions Division – which operates under the Ministry of Finance – issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday, appointing her for a four-year period.
The salaries, allowances and other facilities of Farzana will be determined as per her agreement signed with the government. The order will come into immediate effect.
