Grameenphone's revenue rose 6% in third quarter

The earnings per share of Grameenphone, a telecom sector company listed on the capital market, increased by almost 6 per cent in the third quarter current year.

The profit has increased by Tk 52 crore compared to the same period of the previous year, Grameenphone disclosed this information after a board meeting on Wednesday.

Grameenphone's earnings per share (EPS) for the third quarter of 2022 was Tk 6.72, compared to Tk 6.34 in the same period last year.

During the period, the company earned Tk 3,864 crore in revenue, compared to Tk 3,620 crore in the same period last year.

In the third quarter, Grameenphone earned a net profit of Tk 907 crore, down from Tk 855 crore in the same period of the previous year.

The market cap of Grameenphone stood at Tk 38,699 crore as of Wednesday. On the same day, the stock price of Grameenphone was Tk 286.6 per share on the trading floor of the DSE.
